My backyard is my Happy Place. It is an extension of my home. I have different areas in my yard that I decorate differently just like inside. Here are a few of my favorite spaces.
Living in Texas I like to use things that accent the state. You can do the same with your state. The Star Wind Spinner is a great addition to the Lone Star State. It’s a great representation of our country’s flag as well. It brings patriotism to the yard.
Ponds & Water Features:
I enjoy hearing water in my backyard. Having a spotlight on them at night accents their beauty. You can also place path lights along the path to accent them as well. Having a pond waterfall feature in my yard brings the great outdoors to a new level. Using the butterfly jars to accent this feature brings the butterflies to life. The illumination at night reminds me of catching fireflies. You can place them together or separately to accent your yard in special areas.
When entertaining in my backyard, I like to have welcoming solar stake lights like the Watering Can & Dog Welcome Sign. It makes people feel welcome and they show interest to your yard. Placing them at an entrance to a garden path welcomes your guests to look around at your beautiful yard.
I enjoy putting Wind Spinners of all sizes like the Hummingbird and Butterfly Spinners in these areas to break up the plain lines of the fence. You can also add color by using the Multi-color Wind Spinner in these areas. To make standalone gardens show more interest you can add one or several of these wind spinners or welcome signs. They are colorful and draw the eye.
